Racial and Cultural Barriers
Here's the situation...I've been going back
and forth with this woman for over a year now. I've spent
upwards of $15k on her for jewelry, romantic trips, lavish
dinners, etc. We connect perfectly in almost every aspect.
There is however, one problem. She is Indian, and I am white.
It is no problem for me, as I am madly in love with the woman.
It is, however, a problem for her, as she believes that because
of my race I could never fully embrace or fit in with her culture,
which is very important to her. Has anybody been through
this situation before? Any advice would be helpful. Side
note: Her family is crazy about me and completely approves
of us.
