Karma Sutra
A better choice than the Karma Sutra as a guide to love making
is the "Perfumed Garden". Translated into
English from Persian by Sir Richard Burton in the 19th century,
it contains a wealth of stories about human sexual activity
and how to derive pleasure from different body types.
The Perfumed Garden was written by Sheikh Nefzawi in the
late 15th century. At the time, the culture in North Africa
was quite male dominated. The Perfumed Garden was something
that was to be hidden from women. Needless to say the text
provided advice for how men could receive great pleasure.
