Was the doctor right to ask?
There have been some questions asked recently regarding
visits to the doctor. Well I have a question. I am an Asian
girl and I havent been here very long. I went to see our doctor
because I felt sick and the doctor (who is an older man) asked
me to lie on the couch and then he asked me to lift my tee shirt
up so he could examine my chest. I just lifted it up a little
and then he said keep going, come on , all the way up. I was
nervous and he said lift your bra up as well please. So I did
and then he put his sthescope on each side of my nipples and
listened to my chest. I was nervous because he was looking
at my breasts. I am wondering was it really neccessary for
the doctor to ask me to lift my top right up, and then to stand
there and look at my breasts? I am not worried about it but
I just wonder how normal is it? Thank u.
