What do "you" think of a hairy chest ?

Well this is a question for the men & women of Adult FriendFinder out
there to comment on.
What do you think about a man's hairy chest?
The reason i ask is i have a hairy chest, and i have dated alot
of women, who all told me they loved to run their fingers
through it and told
me how masculine it is.
Yet the flipside to this, is the current trend we see in the
movies and on TV, which shows only bare chested men with
the arms and pec's of an Adonis ... but also this clean,
smooth and hairless chest, almost like a boy's.
Going to the pool or the beach with a hairy chest is a good
way for me to get quite a few weird looks, from men and women
around me. Which i interpreted to mean something along
the lines of thats just not socially acceptable anymore.
Is shaving chesthair really the way to go? Is that the look
most people (Men/Women) prefer to see. I would love to get
an idea on percentages, see how badly out numbered i am ...
LOL
Am i wrong in thinking that guys who shave their hairy chest's
just want to look like they once did when they were pre-pubescent,
in some effort to recapture youth, or is it really something
else.
And should i re-consider this myself and just shave mine,
just so i can fit in with the crowd.
Actually on re-reading this, there are a few questions
in there, let me know what you think.
