What chance do I have - really?
Been pondering this for a bit, now it's time to ask about
it. I just opened the HTML Instant Messenger, to view how
many men were online compared to women. This is what I came
up with:
3641 Men
611 Women
Bear with me. Assuming that men are just as interested as
using the Instant Messenger as women are (and I can't
see why this wouldn't be the case), then that means
there's about 6 men per each woman. About 6 times more
men are registered on this site (of course this is a huge
approximation, but it's probably actually an underestimate
rather than an overestimate, which strengthens my point
even more) than women.
I'm a pretty average guy, not a whole lot is special
about me (it's not that I'm not self-confident,
I'm just being honest), even less within the scope
of this site. And there's even less originality in
what I'm looking to get out of this site, so honestly,
what chance do I have of finding what I'm looking for?
I haven't even taken into account that so many more
women are looking for other women or couples than men are,
so I probably have even LESS of a chance taking that into
consideration.
Am I wasting mine and others' time?
