She thought she was over him, but she's not.
I seem to attract women who appear available when I first meet them, but who go running back to someone else after just a few dates with me. They always say, "It's not you Joe," and they tell me how much they love this other guy. They thought they were ready to move on to other men, but now they realize they still love the last guy. They want to keep seeing me as a friend, etc. etc. The last woman that did this to me (tonight), supposedly went back to some guy that beats her. Is this kind of thing common with women? Or are they just using the line on me to cool the relationship?
