Religious Beliefs and Your Sexuality
I thought that I would start a discussion of how people on
this site are dealing with their religious beliefs and
their sexuality. I know that I was always taught that sex
doesn't belong anywhere outside of marriage. But
I am a 38 year old woman that has never been married, does
God really expect me to not have sex? God is who created me
as the sexual being that I am and gave me my high sex drive,
yet I have not found anyone to marry, so should I be celibate?
Now, since I am on this site that is obviouly not the case.
So, how have others dealt with this issue? I know that I used
to deal with guilt, but I don't anymore. Is that because
I have become hardened? Or is it that I finally realized
that the guilt wasn't really from within, but was societal
based.
I doubt that I am the only one on this site that has dealt with
this....So, let's hear what others have to say?
