I like the way you think...
A teacher was assigned to a small town remedial math class
for high school seniors. On her first day she opted to take
it slow as to not overly challenge the students.
She calls on a strapping young man named Robert in the back
row and asks him the following question. "Robert,
there are three crows on the line out back. You take
your gun and shoot one. How many birds are left." Robert
quickly responds "None."
"Well Robert" the teachers says, "that's
not correct". "Yes it is", says Robert,
"After I shoot one, the other two will fly away and
there will be no birds on the line." "I see"
said the teacher, "not the answer I was looking for,
but I am goingto give you credit, because I like the way you
think."
Robert, then says "now it's my turn to ask a question".
Thinking that maybe that's the way they do it here,
the teacher said "okay Robert, go ahead". Robert
says
"There are three women sitting on a a bench in the park,
all of them eating ice cream. The one on the left takes the
ice cream cone and only licks it on the left.
The one on the right, takes the ice cream cone and only licks
it on the right. The one in the middle, takes the whole ice
cream cone and slides it slowly all the way
into her mouth. Which one is married?"
The teacher thinks for a minute and then says "I guess,
Robert, I'd have to say the one in the middle."
Robert replies "Wrong, the one with the wedding ring.
But I am
gonna give you credit because I like the way you think..."
